The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has announced its objectives for 2025, with a focus on supporting digital transformation, improved service quality, and better networking among its members, reported .听
The announcement was made by ICAN registrar and CEO Lanre Olasunkanmi during the institute’s first-ever team bonding retreat in Lagos.
Olasunkanmi highlighted that a major priority for ICAN in 2025 is adopting technology with the launch of a 鈥楧igital Institute鈥.听
It is expected to enable seamless interaction among members, regardless of the location.
He said: 鈥淎ll work without play makes not only Jack a dull boy but also ICAN staff dull people. This retreat is a chance to bond and build teamwork in a relaxed mood.鈥
The retreat provided an environment for staff and their families to engage in various activities and games on the beach.

Earlier in December 2024, ICAN welcomed 1,785 new members at its 74th induction ceremony.听聽
